Delta Emulator Not Working

GBA4iOS used to be one of the most popular of all the games console emulators but, sadly, it is no more. And, now that we don’t have a jailbreak for iOS 10, iOS users have no way of downloading any other emulators either. Luckily, the developer of GBA4iOS, Riley Testut, has announced that his new emulator app, called Delta Emulator, is now in beta testing and should be released to the public in the very near future. Delta is the same as GBA4iOS [ read about ] but it does support more consoles and the latest iOS version.

Although Delta Emulator is in beta [ at the time of writing this article ], there is a way for you to install it on your iOS device, although we can’t guarantee it will work for everyone. You can find the instructions on how to download Delta Emulator at the link below, along with instructions on how to delete it in the event that you need to:

Delta Emulator SSL Errors :

If you are able to successfully download and install Delta Emulator, hopefully you will have a trouble-free existence. If you are unlucky enough to get an SSL error, don’t worry because it is easy to fix. You will know because you will see an error message that read, “Delta Emulator could not be downloaded at this time” but you can fix it using the instructions below:

Method 1 :

  1. Close down Safari
  2. Close down all open apps that are running on your iOS device
  3. Wait for a couple of minutes and then try the steps in the download link again

Method 2 :

If that doesn’t work, try this one:

  1. Close down Safari
  2. Close down all open apps
  3. Turn your iOS device off completely
  4. Wait a minute or two and then switch it back on
  5. Run through the download steps again and it should all work

Delta Emulator Crashing :

If you find that Delta Emulator crashes it will be a problem with certificates. Apple provides company owners with certificates that allow them to push their apps to employee iOS devices without having to put the app in the iOS app store first. Delta Emulator makes use of expired certificates and this is why it keeps crashing.

The Delta certificates are renewed regularly but, other than waiting, there isn’t anything you do about it. All you can do is delete Delta Emulator from your device and reinstall it.
