Today we mourn the loss of the popular emulator, GBA4iOS. Although it officially died a couple of years ago, the developer, Riley Testut, has managed to keep it going on some form or another but it has become more of a struggle recently and he took the decision to kill it off completely. However, it is being replaced with a better app called Delta Emulator.

Delta is currently in beta but we do know that it will provide the exact same access to games console games on the iPad as its predecessor did but on more choice of consoles. To start with, Delta will include support for the following games consoles but more will be added later on:
- Game Boy Color
- Game Boy Advance
- Nintendo 64
- Super Nintendo
Although it is in a closed beta program [ at the time of writing this article ], we have found one way that you can try to get Delta Emulator on your iPad. We will not give you any guarantees that it will work but, as it will not harm your iPad to try it, give the following steps a go.
Compatible Devices :
The iPad is the perfect device to play console games on because of its larger screen size and Delta emulator will work on the following models on iOS 8 to iOS 10
- iPad Air
- iPad Mini
- iPad Pro
How to Download Delta Emulator on the iPad :
- Open Safari browser
- Type deltaemulator.org in the address bar and tap on Go
- On the specially designed web page, tap on the UP arrow [ you will find it in the top right corner of your screen as shown above ]
- Tap on Add to Home Screen on the popup message
- When asked to rename the icon, call it Delta. Tap the Add button
- Come out of Safari and the Delta Emulator app icon will be on your home page
