Delta Emulator iOS 11

iOS 10 hasn’t been one of the best iOS versions, at least not where jailbreaks are concerned. With just one jailbreak utility released, iOS 10 proved something of a disappointment, especially as that one jailbreak was limited in who could use it.  We can only hope that the recently released iOS 11 proves to be a better bet because there are many users who are missing downloading their favorite emulators from Cydia [ext link]. These emulators let us download and play the old retro games from the PS1, Nintendo, Gameboy, etc.

GBA4iOS was the most popular emulator downloaded from Cydia but, unfortunately, it has now disappeared. However, the developers have been hard at work and have now given us Delta Emulator. It is far more comprehensive than its predecessor with support for more platforms and it is has been updated with support for iOS 11. With no jailbreak required, anyone can download emulators to play games from the following consoles :

  • Super Nintendo
  • Nintendo 64
  • Gameboy Advance
  • Gameboy Color

The developer tells us that he will be adding in more support for other consoles at a later date but much will depend on the popularity of what is already there. The only thing we must advise is that Delta Emulator is in a closed beta testing program but we have managed to find out how you can download it. However, because it is a beta, we make no guarantees that it will work for everyone.

Compatible Devices :

Delta Emulator is supported on these devices on iOS 11

  • iPhone
  • iPad Pro
  • iPad
  • iPad Air
  • iPad Mini
  • iPod Touch

Popular Delta Emulator Game :

  • Pokémon Go

Delta Emulator is full of games, as well as emulators and one of the most popular is Pokémon Go++. This is a modified version of the stock Pokémon Go app, one of the most popular games ever released and, as well as all the stock features, Pokémon Go++ offers loads of extras, including the ability to hunt down the Pokémon from the comfort of your own home, lots of ways to modify the stock app settings, and a good deal more besides.

Fix Delta Emulator Crash Issue :

While Delta Emulator provides endless hours of entertainment and fun, it will crash within a few days and it will take with it any apps or games you downloaded. This is down to Apple; because Delta is not an official app store app, Apple revokes the certificates and, while you can install it again, it will just keep on crashing. By installing NessTool [ext link], you can put a stop to this. Find out how to keep Delta Emulator running by clicking on the link.

Delta Emulator Alternative :

  • Emus4U

While Delta is a great source of games emulators and other content, it might not have what you want. That’s where Emus4U steps in. Another one focused on emulators, Emus4U contains some of the top ones, along with loads of other apps and games for you to choose from, including a good selection of modified ++ apps. 1. Help -- I downloaded Delta through AppValley (it wasn’t working through the browser save thing) and it downloaded fine. However when I click the plus to add a game, Delta crashes. Please help as I want to play games on it.

  1. I did all the following steps and when I open the app it just takes me to the retro games. emulator works for only few games , why ?

  2. Every time I put it on my home screen and I click on it it brings me to the site please get back to me and help me get the emulator thanks

      1. I’m having the same problem. It seems to me that there must be some apple override that, based on how the add to home screen works on other sites, makes it open through safari instead of how it’s supposed to. Am I right to think this, and if so, is there some way we can override it ourselves?

    1. I’m having a similar problem, could you explain how it works and why it would fail, email me if it’s to be confidential I would really like to know if there’s a way to beat whatever’s triggering safari to show up instead of the app thanks

  3. worked on all my devices. i have a total of 6 ios devices which includes new and old iphones , ipad and ipod touch. 100% works on all devices. previously had gba4ios

  4. Doesn’t seem to work with iPhone 8 or iPhone 8+. Please get this updated! I’ve used GBA4iOS for a while and then got a new phone. I’m upset it’s not updated for the new phones yet.

  5. I follow the steps but all that happens is when I tap the Delta Icon on my home screen in just takes me to the website. I named it Delta so what am I doing wrong?

  6. Those steps only show how to add a shortcut to home screen. Where on the delta site is the link to download emu? I’ve done this on Android multiple time I’m not sure why I’m having a hard time?

  7. As I’ve seen other commenters say, the steps only seem to give me an icon that brings me to the website. Is this a bug? Is there something else we have to do?

  8. Using an iPhone 6+ on 11.2.5. Would be super helpful if the devs could address this and not leave us with problems in the dark.

  9. I am having problems with the 1st Safari Method. Tried it several times, ddnt work. However method 2 worked right away. It was stuck at Preparing Delta for like 15 minutes , but then when i refreshed the pages, voila !!! i had delta emulator there.

    1. Thanks for your comment. Some users are reporting issues with Safari method not working. Glad method 2 worked for you. We are working on fixing compatibility issues with Safari method on all iOS devices.
